Does anybody have any information on Dell laptop guarantees and what they cover?

i was having an argument with my brother and it became a fight. i threw the remote and it hit his laptop screen! please don't give any lectures or anything lol i just need to know about Dell guarantees. i know the website but i don't know what im looking for.Does anybody have any information on Dell laptop guarantees and what they cover?Warranties don't cover accidental unless you specifically pay more for that type of warranty. This will not be covered. Screens and motherboards are the two most expensive parts of a laptop and Dell or any other OEM doesn't cover if you drop it (or throw something at it) Does anybody have any information on Dell laptop guarantees and what they cover?Hi, I've worked with Dell workstations and laptops for a long time and have had to call them on many times about faulty / damaged equipment.



Dell will replace anything that fails. if the dvd drive stops working, they will replace. They do not replace broken monitors. Anything that has become damaged due to misuse they wont change.



Now unless you have accidental damage cover?



Or even some house contents insurance policys cover things like that?





If your stuck, you can pick up screens for dell laptops on ebay for around 拢100, 拢200 depending on the make. And theres websites that will explain how to change. Sending it off somewhere is VERY expensive
