How do you connect to the internet through a Dell Inspiron 6000 with an internal wireless card. We just recently had to take my daughter's computer to have the files retrieved and system restored. It used to be able to get on the internet but not anymore since we picked up from repair. The network connections show the 1394 adapter is connected but I am getting no packets sent or received. I can get on the web by using an external belkin adapter. hummm... some dell computers have multiple drivers for the built in wireless, sounds like the repair man installed the wrong one. go to dell.com and go to the driver/downlaod section under support, once in the driver/download section type and look up the wireless driver for your computer.How do you connect to the internet through a Dell Inspiron 6000 with an internal wireless card. ?1394 is for your firewire, not your internet. Make sure the wireless card is properly installed with all the drivers. Hi. Try right clicking on the wireless icon and select "View available connections", then try connect.
