I don't think there is a laptop that doesn't come with speakers.
If there is any mention of sound ANYWHERE in the description then I'd say you can't be assured you're fine. i would really think so that any dell laptop that you buy even if its a custom build would have speakers pre installed when the laptops being built.
dell are renowned for there quality and exceptional build quality
iam using a dell desktop right now and its a great machine to use.
i havent had much experience of dell laptops but i know someone who has and i just asked him for you and he said yes they should do that as part of the service your paying for from dell.
a lot of people dont like dells but my personal experience has been a very positive one and i have even sold ex corporate dell desktops to people and no one has ever been unhappy with a system i sold them.
iam a system builder and registered with the partner programme that microsoft operates.
