How do I get Windows 7 that was promised to come with my new laptop (Dell) from walmart?

I purchased a new Dell Inspiron from Walmart in August 2009. They told me I would receive Windows 7 as soon as it came out. Now that it is out no one at walmart can tell me where to get it. What I have seen with this upgrade program is that stores did not tell customers about the program or they just told what they told you and not the info of how and customers did not know until somebody else told them or found out from somewhere.How do I get Windows 7 that was promised to come with my new laptop (Dell) from walmart?

Dont let wal mart push you around saying this and that. You have to register at the manufacturer's Windows 7 website and they mail it to you.
