Where can I get drivers for my dell computer?

I installed a new copy of windows on my computer and apparently lost all my drivers for my sound cards, modems, etc. I can't download the drivers off the web becuase I can't connect to the internet, because I have no modems for anything, not even dial up. Does anyone know where I can get these drivers? I tried calling dell but apparently my warranty ran out and I can't talk to anyone about getting the drivers? Any info would help a lot.

You have the internet if you are posting this- so use this machine to get the drivers or go to a friends house or the library. If you go to support.dell.com you should be able to enter the service tag for the PC or look up the model. It will give you a whole list of drivers which you can download to a flash drive (or other device) and transfer them to your computer and install. I would recommend installing the network driver first so you can pull the rest of them from the dell site directly onto the machine.Where can I get drivers for my dell computer?Search your old boxes, you will find a Cd, dell written on it... It will come with your PC and will have all drivers included in it... It will solve the problem... Else run PC Wizard, see details of all your hardware, brand names and model of your mobo, audio, video, modem etc... You will have to access internet somewhere else and get the drivers... Bring them back and install them...



Else on Dell home site, if you just specify the model no., you can get a package of all necessary drivers...

look around in the papers that came with your computer you should find the mother board booklet it should show you the names of the on board hardware. or you can punch in the the name of th mother board and download from the official site.Where can I get drivers for my dell computer?What model Dell do you have? Use another computer that has an internet connection then use the search engine to help you to find the specific driver of the laptop.

A driver installation disc should've shipped with your computer, but if you can't find it, then go to http://support.dell.com . Enter your service tag or search by model.
You don't need warrenty to download bloody drivers ffs.



Ring them up and TELL them not ASK.
