How do you upload from a pny optima 4gb memory card to a XPS Dell computer?

Currently I am trying to upload some photos from my pny optima 4gb memory card to my XPS Dell compter by placing the memory card into the computer tower becasue I currently do not have the cord to my cam.How do you upload from a pny optima 4gb memory card to a XPS Dell computer?What does 'cord to cam' have to do with it?



Insert card into reader (slot on your PC).

Check with 'Computer' or 'My Computer', to see if it is recognized.

If so, click memory card. (twice if you must).

If it shows the 'stuff' on the card, you can 'Drag %26amp; Drop' stuff (usually 'My Pictures' on drive C (hard disk drive is best), to your hearts content.



OR...

You can use Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) double-click the card and play with it as above.



Above is without using camera.



If you insist on using the camera, plug in the camera USB cord to the PC USB port.

If your PC is set up properly, it will show you the pics according to your default photo viewing program.
