What to upgrade in a dell dimension 4600 to run windows 7?

currently i have a dell dimension 4600 with 2.8 GHZ and 4GB of RAM running xp. I've been looking around the net looking for answers and there seems to be a problem with the resolution bring too low. is there a compatible video card that will fit my system to run 7?



i know its a old system and probably not worth upgrading, but i have a windows disk lying around, and another computer.

You will need 2gb DDR RAM for good performance of Win 7. You have an AGP video card slot and there are not many "good" AGP video cards at least for gaming but they will run Windows 7 OK.
