How can i fix my Dell laptop touchpad?

Sometimes when i turn on my, Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, the touchpad and the two buttons underneath it wont work at all. I have to restart my computer (sometimes twice) to get it to work again. Is the a way to fix it on my own or any suggestions? Ive only had it 2 months and don't have a warranty on it.How can i fix my Dell laptop touchpad?Reinstall ur mouse driver.
