Been there, done that. My computer wouldn't burn a dvd and I spent 6 hours chating with them over the internet. In the end I had to yell at them to get them to send a person over to replace it. It still doesn't work.

Return it or sell it and get a Mac. Macs are wonderful, and the customer support is flawless. Plus, you won't have to worry about viruses!
Uh, just don't use dell....
They have terrible support, and are bad quality overall (except for the XPSes).
Oh, and your problem, it seems to be overheating. You might have to reapply thermal paste to the processor, which they may have put on wrong. That seems like a probable cause.
I guess you could stay awake for an extra 3 hours rather than just wasting them in your sleep
