How come there are new Dell Laptops for sale or Ebay? Are they the real deal?

I am considering purchasing a laptop from ebay and am particularly interested in the Dell XPS M1330 - is this a good laptop? I have seen some good offers of this model on ebay but wondered has anyone purchased a Dell through ebay as I thought that Dell only sold direct through their website. Therefore I want to know could these be real Dell laptops and are they safe to buy, obviously providing the seller has good feedback, etc. ?How come there are new Dell Laptops for sale or Ebay? I would not buy any dell laptops because Carphone Warehouse are giving them away for free with any AOL wireless broadband connection.

Dell do actually have resellers, so its probably all genuine, but check out the feedback, if there selling 5 dell laptops a day and everything is positive then its probably alright.

Dell pass on cancelled orders onto dealers who sell them on ebay, the computer gets the original Dell guarantee and you can get it cheaper
