(DELL Latitude D610) The little trackball among GHB keys on the keyboard has a mind of its own. It frequently jams to one position, disallowing any movement of the mouse and then stops after a bit of bashing. Is there any way to disable the use of the trackball, FOREVER?Is there any way to disable the blue trackball on a Dell?Dig under the control panel's mouse settings, or under Device Manager. You can also just pull the thing out (it's not that hard to do on my Dell)
Also, it's not a trackball. This is a trackball:

It's known as a pointing stick. When properly functioning, it's a great alternative to the touchpad.
